Also known as Testosterone replacement therapy - Androgen replacement therapy
Testosterone replacement therapy. Standard of care for documented hypogonadism confirmed on two morning total-T draws plus symptoms.
Testosterone replacement therapy restores serum testosterone into the 500-900 ng/dL range in men with documented hypogonadism (two confirmed morning total T draws under 300 ng/dL plus symptoms). Typical forms: weekly injectable cypionate, bi-weekly enanthate, daily transdermal, or long-acting pellets. Monitoring covers total and free T, estradiol, SHBG, hematocrit, PSA, and ApoB. TRT suppresses endogenous production and sperm count - an important conversation for anyone considering fertility.
